Increased demand for luxury villas!
Actually, I'm not that interested in houses, that's not why I work as a broker. I am passionate about finding the perfect house for YOU, to be part of a new journey in YOUR life in beautiful Spain that I really love and want to share. And whether it's a castle or a hut does not really matter, but I must admit that it is a little special to have views of luxury villas, which is a dream for many of us.
It's not just me who is witnessing an increased demand for this type of accommodation - Marbella and the surrounding area is very hot again and buyers come from all over the world. Many people also buy because they see it as a good investment as the villas are rented out fantastically well, especially during the summer months. Between 3000 - 6000 / Euro per week is common, possibly even more if you have a really luxurious house in an attractive location. Of course, apartments are also rented out very much, but Corona has affected many and you want a little space, be more private and avoid being crowded with people unnecessarily.
If you are thinking of any type of investment and a future home here, it is also extra advantageous to buy now, before the turn of the year, as the transfer tax has been reduced to only 7% from the previous 10% on amounts over 700,000 Euros. A measure that of course stimulates many buyers to act now.
